Asian Slaw

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 red bell pepper cut into matchsticks
  • 2 Tbsp of chopped fresh basil
  • 1 Tbsp of chopped fresh mint
  • 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp of soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
  • ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Whisk together the mayo and soy sauce.
  2. Toss the vegetables together in a bowl with the dressing.
  3. Season with ground black pepper to taste.
  4. Set slaw aside to "marry" while setting up the rest of your meal.
