Hot Chile Salsa

Notes/Suggestions:  Have a sterile one quart mason jar ready to go to store this hot sauce.

Ingredients:
  • 10 fresh red chilies, roughly chopped
  • 1 large red tomato
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
Directions:
  1. Place chilies, tomato and garlic in a food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a sauté pan and heat the chili, tomato mixture for about 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and add the lime juice and stir well. Put the salsa in a sterile mason jar and top with the remaining olive oil and then the Mason jar top.
