Hot Chile Salsa
Notes/Suggestions: Have a sterile one quart mason jar ready to go to store this hot sauce.Ingredients:
- 10 fresh red chilies, roughly chopped
- 1 large red tomato
- 2 garlic cloves
- Juice of 1 lime
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- Place chilies, tomato and garlic in a food processor and process until smooth.
- Heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a sauté pan and heat the chili, tomato mixture for about 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and add the lime juice and stir well. Put the salsa in a sterile mason jar and top with the remaining olive oil and then the Mason jar top.
