Oat Cookies
Notes/Suggestions: This will make 12 large cookies that are just so good!Ingredients:
- 12 Tbsp butter
- 1 ½ cups flour (I use a mix of unbleached all purpose flour and white wheat flour)
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 6 Tbsp milk
- 1 ½ cup oats
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- In a food processor blend all the ingredient together except the oat. Add the oat then pulse to incorporate but not to puree the oats.
- Using an ice cream scooper, scoop out 12 equal sized balls onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a baking mat.
- Bake 7-10 minutes. They should be fully spread out and just starting to turn golden but still soft in the middle.
