Berry Cobbler

Notes/Suggestions: You can use fresh or frozen berries of your choice in the this recipe. Strawberries are coming into season soon.

Ingredients:
  • 2 pints berries
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice, whichever you have on hand.
  • 12 Trefoils (or more to your liking)
  • 2 Tbsp butter
Directions:
  1. Butter the bottom and sides of a baking dish.
  2. Mix the berries with honey and vanilla and put into the buttered baking dish.
  3. Put the Trefoils into a large zip lock bag and crush into small pieces (this is a good job for the kids). Add the cinnamon and toss around in the SEALED bag)
  4. Pour the contents of the bag over the berries. Cut up the remaining butter and “dot” the top of the cobbler.
  5. Bake at 350 until bubbling, about 20-30 minutes.
