The Modeling Mom

So yesterday I spent the day escorting my four year old on a photo shoot for Polo Jeans. I never envisioned myself as a mom of models, but my kids begged and pleaded to try it and I have to admit, they are pretty good at it. We had a lot of fun and the team from Ralph Lauren was super. Very professional, so friendly and welcoming and the whole day was very memorable. If anyone from RL is reading this, thank you again.

We had to leave the house at 4:45am to get to the shoot location by 8:00am. That is really early for me, but even harder on a four year old. So I scooped him out of bed in is PJ’s, wrapped in his favorite blanket and he slept most of the way there. But what about breakfast, and the morning routine you ask? Well a Quaker Oats Chewy Granola Bar with Protein, some milk and cutie oranges and my little man was good to go for hair and make-up. We ate in the car during the last part of our journey and he was ready for his day on the set by the time we got there. I brushed his teeth in the trailer upon arrival (no oats in teeth during photo shoot, very important tip); and the bed head he always has in the morning, the lovely man that does hair…he licked the cowlick in no time.
